GOING THROUGH SEPARATION, STRUGGLING TO SEE YOUR CHILDREN, OR FACING FAMILY COURT?

You're still their dad.
You're not on your own.

Anchor Dads is a local peer-support group for fathers dealing with separation, difficulties seeing or staying close to their children, co-parenting conflict and private family court proceedings.

Face-to-face support groups

Real support, in the room, with dads who understand.

Anchor Dads is not just an online page. Our core offer is local, face-to-face peer support for fathers going through separation, difficulties seeing their children, co-parenting conflict or private family court proceedings.

Who Anchor Dads is for

Support for dads when family life becomes difficult

If separation has changed your relationship with your children, contact has become difficult, co-parenting is under strain, or you are involved in private family court proceedings, Anchor Dads is here to help you feel less alone and find a constructive way forward.

Separation

Support when a relationship ends and family life suddenly feels uncertain.

Seeing your children

Peer support when time with your children has become difficult, reduced or disrupted.

Family court

Support while going through private children proceedings and navigating an unfamiliar process. We do not provide legal advice.

Staying a dad

Helping you remain calm, child-focused and present through a difficult period.

Supporting dads. Strengthening families.

Fatherhood does not end when a relationship does.

Our focus is helping dads remain steady, constructive and connected to their children through separation, contact difficulties and family court proceedings.

“You are an anchor in your child's life — steady when everything around you is moving.”

How we can help

Practical, human support

Anchor Dads is deliberately straightforward. We listen, share experience and help you work out what kind of support may be useful next.

  • Private, respectful peer-support conversations
  • A supportive local community of fathers
  • Signposting to appropriate professional services
  • Signposting to reliable information about separation, parenting and family-court support
  • A child-focused, constructive environment

Clear boundaries

Support, not a campaign

Dads can speak honestly about difficult experiences here, but Anchor Dads is not built around grievance or taking sides.

Anchor Dads does not provide legal advice.
We offer peer support and signposting. Where legal, safeguarding, medical or mental-health advice is needed, we will encourage people to use appropriately qualified services.
